Bring our own chair?

The Delbert cruises often had some pretty crowded outside decks for the "big" shows. There wasn't enough seating. It wouldn't have been bad for an hour or two - but 4 hours without a seat starts to get tedious!

Anyway - should we bring our own soccer-type chairs with us?

saw plenty of chairs for sitters last Jan. Most of us are dancing. You can have my chair!

For outside shows, there's almost always a place to sit available. But if you want a place to sit at an afternoon show in the shade with a great view of the stage, that's more difficult--not because of too few chairs, but because prime spots are always prime spots. I've been on all of the blues cruises (I have to, it's my job) and I've never known of anybody bringing their own chair, so it must mostly work.

I have a question about the chairs during the St Croix Festival. Will there be chairs there or should we bring a fold up chair?

Last time we went to St Croix we took a cab to either Wal-mart or K-mart and picked up 4 lawn chairs for $12 a piece.The only place to sit in a seat was in the bleachers located pretty far away from the stage.The first time we were at St Criox we had blankets and towels to sit on but the ants and sand fleas had a hay day ..
We will be bringing chairs or making another trip to the store on the island!Also,a chair with a cup holder is preferred to hold the VooDoo juice!
